The Story Behind the Brand

It started with Markiz.

Markiz is a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. He is the reason House of Dog Arts exists.

When his paws and snout wouldn't heal and kept cracking open, nothing helped, we researched until we could make something that worked. That became the Premium Balm - the first H.O.D.A. product. Candle for calming during fireworks season came next.

Every product of the brand follows the same logic: a real need, careful research, handmade with certified natural ingredients or materials.

The Dress Code collection was built the same way. Not because there weren't already dog leads in the world, but because there weren't any that felt like they belonged in the life Markiz and Špela actually live.

Dress Code is his legacy. Everything here is made in that spirit.
