The Outdoor Ritual collection was made out of a genuine need - the kind that comes from actually spending time in forests, on trails and by lakes with a dog. We wanted something to take with us on a walk that wasn't a chemical product in a harsh-smelling can, and something to place on the table in the evening that wasn't a cheap garden candle releasing who-knows-what into the air. So we made both.
Nature knows best. We just learned to work with it.

Under Open Skies
Botanical Mist
Unlike water or alcohol sprays, the dry oil base absorbs quickly and actively nourishes skin and fur. No greasy film if sprayed correctly from 15–20cm. Your dog's coat stays clean, your skin stays soft.
Lavandin, geranium, atlas cedar, citriodora and a few added drops of magic - a fresh, green, lightly citrus composition of essential oils traditionally associated with outdoor use. Nature knows the combination. We just put it in a bottle.
We spray it into the air around us, on our clothes, on our skin, and on our dogs' fur. Avoid eyes, nose and mouth - otherwise use freely. EU certified as a care product.
150ml - fits in a trail bag, a car door, a jacket pocket. Light enough to always have it. Present enough to actually use it every time.
We use it ourselves every time we go out. The dry oil base means our skin gets something out of it too - not just the walk. Same bottle. Same spray. Same benefit for whoever's heading out the door.

Outdoor Ritual Citronella Blend
Light it. Sit down. Stop swatting.
Nothing to do with the cheap yellow candles sold at garden centres for two euros. This is our in-house natural wax blend - soy, beeswax and coconut - poured into a natural coconut shell and composed with citronella, eucalyptus citriodora and may chang. Botanicals that have been used outdoors for this purpose for a very long time, in a candle that's actually worth having on the table. Around 20 hours of burn time. Engraved with the H.O.D.A. mark.
Our signature wax blend - not a compromise
The same soy, beeswax and coconut blend we use in the Indoor Atmosphere collection. Clean-burning, no synthetic additives, nothing you'd prefer wasn't in the air you're breathing outside with your dog.
Citronella, citriodora and may chang
Three botanicals historically associated with outdoor use - combined in a blend designed for warm-season evenings. Fresh, green, subtly citrus. A scent worth having, not just tolerating.
The coconut shell stays
When the wax is gone, the natural coconut vessel remains. Use it for dog treats, a tea light, small things that need a home. The ritual goes on.

Botanicals with a reason.
Every ingredient in both products is there because it belongs there. Not to fill a label, not to extend a formula - because it contributes something specific to what these products need to do outdoors.
A clean, lightweight base that stays stable and lets the botanical profile come through clearly. Disperses the blend evenly across skin and fur without heaviness. Absorbs fast.
Fresh, citrus-toned, distinctive. A botanical consistently associated with time spent outdoors. The sharpest and brightest note in the blend.
Dry, woody, grounding. Anchors the blend and gives it staying power.
Clean herbal character that keeps the scent fresh in outdoor air and adds herbal structure to the blend.
A green, slightly sharp floral note - widely used in outdoor botanical compositions.

We go on the same walks. We sit at the same table. Everything in the Outdoor Ritual collection was made with that reality in mind - products that work for both of us, because we're both out there.
The Mist
We spray it on the dog, and on ourselves. Arms, neck, clothing, into the air around us. The dry oil base means our skin gets the benefit too - botanicals absorbed, not just sitting on the surface. Two sprays before a walk. That's the whole thing.
The Candle
Lit on the table for the people. The dog sleeps beside it. The same natural wax blend we'd burn indoors, used outdoors because the botanicals in it belong outside. No compromise on what we're breathing because the dog is there too.
The standard
The Mist is EU certified. The candle uses the same wax blend as our certified indoor collection. We don't have separate standards for the dog and for ourselves. There is one, and it's THE one.
